University of Maine - Orono 緬因州立大學 - 奧羅諾 (緬因州 ME)

Features

Somewhat unusually, the University of Maine is the nation’s only land grant university that is located on an island. Students in U Maine, should know they walk along the same grounds as Stephen King since the University of Maine is his alma mater.

The 1,100-acre University of Maine campus is a lovely combination of old and new, with modern buildings and facilities interspersed with several buildings included in the National Register of Historic Places. It is located in Orono, an attractive town with a population of 10,000, along the banks of the StillwaterRiver, and is about eight miles from Bangor, Maine’s third largest city.
