backDuke University 杜克大學 (北卡羅來納州 NC)
Features
Duke University is committed to internationalization. Nearly half of Duke undergraduates study abroad before graduating. The university launched the Duke Engage program in 2007 to provide funding for undergraduates who wish to pursue an intensive (minimum of eight weeks) civic engagement experience abroad as well as in the U.S.
In September 2008, Duke’s Fuqua School of Business announced plans to offer MBA studies in India, Russia, Europe, China, and the Middle East. About 7 percent of Duke’s undergraduate population and 23 percent of graduate/professional students come from foreign countries, and students regularly receive scholarships to conduct research abroad. Also, the Global Health Institute promotes education, research and service in health care to underserved populations locally, regionally and around the world.
