Student Life

Students in WSU are constantly given opportunities to succeed in academics and in extra-curricular endeavors. The social environment is great ,because a majority of the students stay here every weekend as opposed to going home like their peers at the University of Washington. Friendships grow stronger and you are able to establish the life-long.

The environment outside of the classroom is also nice. There are a lot of clubs here to join and their workout areas are free to use as a student.

Downtown Pullman are very close allowing students to enjoy the nightlife with friends , buy supplies and food , and even work.

Wazzu is what you make of it - In addition to study, you can do virtually all intramurals on campus.

The Student Recreation Center (SRC) offers a variety of recreation and leisure activities including: lap and leisure pools, weight and cardio center, seven gym courts for basketball and volleyball, ping pong tables, raquetball courts, and indoor track.
