Whatcom’s most popular course of study is the university transfer program, which prepares students to transfer to university across the U.S. The Associate in Arts and Science degree is designed for students who plan to transfer to four year university to complete their bachelor’s degree. With the assistance of International Program staff, many Whatcom graduates transfer each year to universities in Washington State and throughout the U.S.

Whatcom Community College's Programs
The Associate of Arts & Sciences degree is designed primarily for students who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university with junior status.

Associate of Science degree is an efficient, pre-designed educational path for students who wish to complete a baccalaureate program in several science fields. The degree will allow WCC students to enter participating universities with 90 credits, junior standing, and the majority of prerequisites complete.
