Alfred University

University of Michigan–Ann Arbor (BA, MSW)

The atmosphere of the campus allowed me to explore and develop my interests in various fields. When I was in Alfred, I got to make friends with students from different ethnicities. I also participated in the school band and orchestra, which perform in school commencements and community concerts annually.

The competitiveness and high standard in both academics and sports fostered my interest in transferring to The University of Michigan, where I got my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Master of Social Work degrees. I also participated as an active member of the University of Michigan Table Tennis Club. During this time, I represented the club and school in collegiate competitions. USA Colleges’ willingness to embrace cultural diversity and positive motivation on every aspect inspired me, and these are the values that I live by.
