2022年泰晤士高等教育(THE)世界大学排名包括来自 99 个国家和地区的 1,600 多所大学,使其成为迄今为止规模最大、最多样化的大学排名。
该表基于 13 个经过仔细校准的绩效指标,这些指标衡量机构在四个领域的绩效:教学、研究、知识转移和国际视野。
美国是总体上代表人数最多的国家,拥有 183 所大学,也是前 200 名(57 所)大学中代表人数最多的国家。
分布情况
无论是综合排名还是最高位次,美国和英国占据前13名。中国和日本等亚洲国家列在前100,但在排名前 200 的大学中,它们落后於其他国家,如德国、澳大利亚和荷兰。
今年,中国首次有两所大学跻身全球前20名 – 北京大学和清华大学,分别上升了7位和4位,并列第16位。
排名中共有 99 个国家或地区,其中 27 个国家或地区至少有一所大学进入前 200 名。另外 452 所大学被列为“报告者”,这意味着它们提供了数据但不符合我们的资格标准获得排名。

中国、香港和东亚
在亚洲,中国大陆在排名中创下历史最高排名(第 16 位),有 10 所大学进入世界前 200 名,而韩国、日本、新加坡和香港均在当前方法下达到最高排名。
香港大学和中大在2022年泰晤士高等教育排行榜上攀升,分别位列第30和第49位;理大升至第 91 位,而科大则跌至第 66 位。
印度
位于班加罗尔的印度科学研究所 (IISc) 是印度排名最高的机构,连续第三年保持在 301-350 级别的位置。因此,印度拥有世界前 1000 所大学中的 35 所,这是有史以来排名第二高的大学(2020 年泰晤士高等教育世界大学排名中的 36 所)。 IIT Ropar 一直在前 351-400 组中排名,而 IIT Indore 则在 401-450 组中。
随着沙特阿拉伯和埃及成为世界上发展最快的国家,中东的情况有了显着改善。
非洲
根据泰晤士报高等教育 2021 年世界大学排名,非洲最好的大学跨越 10 个国家,从东部的乌干达到西部的尼日利亚,从北部的摩洛哥到位于非洲大陆最南端的南非。
南非的两所大学进入全球排名前 250 名:开普敦大学是非洲顶尖大学,并列第 155 位,而金山大学则位于 201-250 名。

新冠病毒相关医学论文后引文影响
泰晤士高等教育数据团队的分析发现,对比2021年和2022年的排名,有19所高校在发表新冠病毒相关医学论文后引文影响得分显着上升。这些高校中有11所位于中国大陆地区,一所位于台湾地区,另一所位于香港地区。因此,中国大陆目前排名前200位的高校数量为10所,与荷兰并列第5位(去年为第7位),超过了加拿大在前200位中的高校数量。
这是高等教育病毒研究对大学排名产生影响的首个证据。此次发布的2022年度排名基于2016年至2020年间发表的研究数据以及2016年至2021年间的引用数据。
从绝对值来看,引文影响力得分增幅最大的机构是首都医科大学、温州医科大学和武汉大学,这些机构均位于中国大陆地区,引文评分提高了30多分。
引文影响力提升是中国科研持续进步的更广泛趋势的一部分。然而,中国高校近来取得的进步大部分由其精英高校完成。在有广泛影响力的疫情相关研究发表后,如果那些国际知名度较低的中国院校在未来几年继续崛起,那么这有可能加速中国的排名进步。
